SPECIAL NOTE: THE SCOPE OF DUTIES IS ONLY INTENDED TO SERVE AS A GUIDE SO THAT CANDIDATES AND THE ELECTED COMMITTEE ARE PUT ON NOTICE ON THE TYPE OF WORK THEY MAY BE EXPECTED TO CARRY OUT IN EACH POSITION. FURTHER OBLIGATIONS MAY ARISE IN THE COURSE OF THEIR DUTIES. THEREFORE THEIR SCOPE OF DUTIES INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO THOSE DUTIES SET OUT BELOW.

President

• To represent the Alumni’s interests and liaise between the MC and the Alumni
• To supervise and coordinate with the Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer
• To supervise and coordinate with the Dance and Music ICs and their SubComs
• To coordinate with the SIFAS Administration on behalf of the Alumni
• To liaise with MC for Alumni’s budget requirements
• To take decisions on behalf of the Committee in circumstances not limited to those anticipated in the Constitution
• To source and create performance opportunities for the Alumni members
• To source and create CLP opportunities for the Alumni members

• Responsible for ensuring that:-

o the Alumni meets its Objectives as set out in the Constitution;
o the recruitment of Alumni members is carried out on a regular basis;
o the Committee remains active and committed to meeting its annual targets;
o Work closely with VP and represent on behalf during his/her absence;
o The Alumni fosters a good relationship with SIFAS and the other Fine Arts institutions;
o The Alumni sources and maintains a relationship with its foreign Alumni;
o Deadlines for Projects are met; and
o Fundraising efforts are adopted.
