Hey guys, thank you so much for the sweet video. Thanks to Rajendran annae, Ganesh, thulsi, lalgudi, priya, nandhitha, aruna, lavanya, Sri Sri, my bro, thamarai akka, Vikram, Sangeetha,Sanjith, Shyam, Dharini akka and my dearest guru sundaresan sir. I will miss everyone one of u guys. Not to forget our madhippukkuriyae capt Gomathi akka and poorna. I'll really miss the Sunday rehearsal sessions and the meeting. Will miss irritating the heck out of Dharini akka. Thulsi, me , Sri Sri and my bro always were one of the main reasons why we ended up talking nonsense in alumni comm meetings. Gomathi akka has to be given a special award for being sooo patient. Haha. Let me say a few things ant thulsi and Sri Sri. I've known these guys for quite a long time. It was their passion for this art which made me really respect them. Not forgetting namma Palla . No shows were dull with these guys around. All the way from navarathri to any major shows at esplanade, this mridangam section has always remained as one unit without any ego probs. and I'm really happy to have been part of that. I will definitely miss disturbing lalgudi, thulsi, priya, dhar akka, Sri Sri, Deneshwari, Ganesh , sangee and others. I have alot of plans for the alumni orch. Hopefully most of them will materialize soon. I just have one issue. It wouldve been nice if lalgudi/ priya/ sangee/ thulsi/ Sri Sri or anybody shed a few tears in the video. With the nayagan theme song as the bgm, it would've been a super sentimental effect. Haha . As I said, I have alot of hopes. Some of the hopes are as follows: hope lalgudi becomes the leader of a bigger violin section. Hope Dharini akka becomes a master in using her iPhone/iPad. Hope priya becomes the kudumba kuthu vilakku she always proclaims to be. Hope thulsi speaks Tamil in a more understandable manner. Hope Sri Sri deletes that damn Tamil lunar calendar app in his phone. Hope sangee pronounces "white" without emphasizing on the H at the start. Hope Ganesh stops giving wierd ass reasons and theories regarding my mridangam prac methods. I think I'm not making any sense. All jokes aside, I'll miss all u guys a whole damn lot. Sunday's will never be the same. There are lot more things I wish to say but it'll be too damn emo. Thanks to my bro and Sri Sri for recording and editing this video. It is a really special gift for me. Anyway, I hope to hear gd news abt our future productions. Hope I can also be a part of it. Thanks once again guys. Take care.
